WHY GO TO SLEEP WHEN I CAN STAY UP AND FIND THESE FUN VIDEO CLIPS ALL NIGHT? TOO much fun!! My very first introduction to Ioan Gruffudd was as William Wilberforce in the movie Amazing Grace. Then I saw him in the Forsyte Saga and Hornblower. Ioan is from Cardiff, Wales and was recently married to Alice Evans in Mexico on the beach with best man, Matthew Rhys by his side. ......................................................
MATTHEW RHYS PLAYS PETER IN LOVE AND OTHER DISASTERS This is news to me. But then I never heard of Matthew Rhys until he showed up on American TV’s ABC show Brothers and Sisters. But this is so much fun I just had to post this. Here he plays Peter. So it turns out Kevin Walker is not the second gay man he has played. ……………………………………
Matthew Rhys and Ioan Gruffudd - Two Young Welsh-speaking Actors Who Grew Up Together in Cardiff, Wales and are actually close friends. Well, close enough to have owned their house together for ten years in or just outside London, England. Ioan is marrying Alice Evans September 2007. I newly learned of their acting talents November 2006. But I’m enamored now. I adore Matthew as Kevin Walker on my favorite TV show (Sunday nights at 10:00 p.m. on ABC and also purchased by England’s channel 4, I believe it is) and Ioan is in the current movie, Amazing Grace, which I have seen 10 times so far. It open in England, Ireland and Wales March 23, 2007.
video fest of Matthew and Ioan. Makes you want to become a Celt. I hope you enjoy. I did.

NOTE: I don’t know why but the two previous posts that I have put up have not allowed me to edit and also don’t make the comment link available at the end of the posts. This is annoying to me and disappointing as well. So if it happens on this post – please forgive the errors that I won’t be able to get back into edit (I always miss the errors until the post is actually posted – and all of a sudden my eyes pick out the mistakes). And please send me an email if again the “comment” link is mysteriously missing for a reason unknown to me. It must be the little blog gods playing games with me. Not fun, blog gods.
Matthew Rhys Evans' acting career is varied and colorful. He's bold, has great comedic timing and will surprise us, Americans, with his many voices.
I am fascinated with the talent of Matthew Rhys. In April 2000, there was this article in Elle magazine of Matthew and his flatmate, Ioan Gruffudd, whom he has known since childhood. I have the four pages here of the article, but the web address ishttp://melissaroo.tripod.com/elle/elle.html
Here is something special, a movie clip from "Very Annie-Mary". See if you recognize the other BROTHERS AND SISTERS regular in this clip. Matthew Rhys teamed with pal Ioan Gruffudd to play a gay couple called Hob and Nob in the comedy "Very Annie-Mary".
Check out My Blog at tvguide.com as ilovemylife. Especially, the post "BROTHERS AND SISTERS Finds The Great Divide in the USA" posted January 25, 2007. There you will find links to hear Matthew Rhys speak in different styles. The one I find the most intriguing is the one in his native language of Welsh. You won't understand a word of it (unless you speak Welsh), but still, it is delightful and will pull you in to his world.
This man overflows with talent. We are blessed to see him as the beloved Kevin. But he is so much more than Kevin.
I love my life. I love where I live. And I am passionate about my passions. I love to dance. Necessary to live: music, piano, singing, writing, acting, painting.
I have been fighting for and supporting the arts all my adult life. Since 2004, I have been working with other activists to end the Darfur genocide.
I have traveled to Europe many times since my early twenties. Places I have been: many USA states including Hawaii, Montreal, Canada, Barbados, France, Spain, Luxembourg, England, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Greece and Germany - and have wonderful memories.
My last trip was in May - June 2013 to Spain.
I would like to travel to Europe and Kyoto, Japan.
I love the southwest where I have visited Hopi, Navajo, Zia and San Idlefonso potters.
Life is exciting and I intend to live it full-out to the end.
B.S. and M.M., both in music

Genocide is not only a word,
it is crying of the whole human race.
There is nothing redeeming about being silent
when speaking up is the humane thing to do.
The honor and integrity of the human race is at stake.
