LOVE CHANGES EVERYTHING SUNG BY NICK LITTLEFIELD

"For all those whose cares have been our concern,
the work goes on,
the cause endures,
the hope still lives
and the dream shall never die."

Ted Kennedy (1932 - 2009) gives eulogy at his second assassinated brother's funeral - Robert Kennedy (1925-1968).

This is the closing part of the eulogy, using excerpts from Bobby's famous speech to the students of a South African university in 1966.

"He saw wrong and tried to right it. He saw suffering and tried to Heal it, saw a War and tried to stop it.

"Some men see things as they are and say 'Why'? I dream things that never were and say 'Why Not"?"

Lyrics to The Impossible Dream

To dream the impossible dream
To fight the unbeatable foe
To bear with unbearable sorrow
To run where the brave dare not go

To right the unrightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star

This is my quest
To follow that star
No matter how hopeless
No matter how far

To fight for the right
Without question or pause
To be willing to march into Hell
For a heavenly cause

And I know if I'll only be true
To this glorious quest
That my heart will lie peaceful and calm
When I'm laid to my rest

And the world will be better for this
That one man, scorned and covered with scars
Still strove with his last ounce of courage
To reach the unreachable star.

Michelle Obama's text of her speech

Caroline Kennedy took the stage and told the crowd that she had never found a person who inspired her in the same way that her father inspired so many Americans -- until Barack Obama.

She then introduced her "Uncle Teddy" and a short video tribute to the legendary Senator played on the big screen...

When Senator Kennedy strode onto the stage, dignified and energetic as ever, the entire crowd stood and erupted in continuous applause. Teddy spoke eloquently about the issues that he has championed throughout his life, most notably his dream of health care for every single American.

"There is a new wave of change all around us, and if we set our compass through we will reach our destination," said Senator Kennedy. "The hope shall rise again, and the dream lives on."

Here are some photos and video from this extraordinary event...
