THE QUESTION ISN’T… IS THE WORLD BETTER WITHOUT SADDAM HUSSEIN, BUT IS IT BETTER WITH PRESIDENT GW BUSH

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

Bush Wants Us to Be Clueless about how he works this government and to be dumb enough to accept that he is qualified to be President. In the very least Bush and his administration welcome our apathy.

I don’t have the complete list of the incompetent people that George Bush has chosen as his administration or people he is associated with. You can go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/nominations/indexJ-L.html

where the nominations are listed. But just consider my short list and that they all say “I SERVE AT THE PLEASURE OF the PRESIDENT”. Dick Cheney, Condoleeza Rice, Alberto Gonzales, Harriet Miers, Scooter Libby, John Bolton, Donald Rumsfeld, John Ashcroft, Colin Powell, Paul Wolfowitz, Porter Goss, Michael D Brown, Tom DeLay, James Leon Holmes, Paul O’Neill, Richard Stickler, Richard H. Carmona, Jack Abramoff. The ones on that list who I respect are Colin Powell, Richard Carmona and Richard Stickler and they weren’t liked by Bush. They were "fired".

If you would like to put on your future resume that you worked for the George Bush White House, go here and apply http://www.whitehouse.gov/appointments/

AT this link it begins:

APPOINTMENTS
One of President Bush's top priorities is to select men and women of the greatest ability and highest ethical and professional integrity to serve in policymaking and key administrative positions in his administration.

"The success of the Bush-Cheney administration will depend on the quality appointees we choose to join us to lead this nation in the years ahead. I will look for people who are willing to work hard to do what is best for America, who examine the facts and do what is right whether or not it is popular. I will look for people from across the country and from every walk of life. I welcome all who are ready for this great challenge to apply."

President George W. Bush

FACTORS TO CONSIDER

To serve our country as a member of the Bush-Cheney administration will be both an honor and a privilege. However, government service is not for everyone. Anyone thinking about applying should be aware that:

  • The hours are long and the pace intense.
  • There is much public/press scrutiny, as you would expect in an open, democratic form of government such as ours.
  • Most applicants under serious consideration for an appointment will go through a full FBI background check in which their employment, professional, personal, travel, medical, financial, legal, military and educational histories will be reviewed and scrutinized…….

THE PROCESS

Anyone wanting to apply for a non-career position in the Executive Office of the President or a Federal Department, Agency or Commission should proceed as follows:

  • Fill out the application form provided below and submit it electronically. You will be sent an email or card indicating that your application has been received. Your information will be kept on file for as long as the President is in office, and you will be considered for the position(s) or subject area(s) in which you have expressed an interest whenever openings occur.

Etc. Seriously this is taken from the White House website.

Imagine, you too could have your name added to the long list of Bush’s People, get a Bush-created nickname, such as Turd Blossom. Would you consider serving this President? OMG!

And then there is the U.S. National Debt

The Outstanding Public Debt as of Aug 17, 2007:

$ 8 , 9 6 6 , 8 5 9 , 0 2 0 , 6 5 4 . 9 6

The estimated population of the United States is 302,726,976
so each citizen's share of this debt is $29,620.28.

The National Debt has continued to increase an average of
$1.43 billion per day since September 29, 2006!
Concerned? Then tell Congress and the White House! From http://www.brillig.com/debt_clock/

Below are some selected YouTubes of the Bush People.

If you only watch one video, watch this one:

To get the truthful news on the United States you have to go outside the United States more often than not. This video is on the U.S. War in Iraq. The Guardian's award-winning photographer and filmmaker Sean Smith spent two months embedded with US troops in Baghdad and Anbar province. His harrowing documentary exposes the exhaustion and disillusionment of the soldiers.” From the Guardian website

FIND A DREAM FOR DARFUR EVENT

http://www.savedarfur.org/page/content/torchrun

www.dreamfordarfur.org

STOPPING GENOCIDE IS A CHOICE

WHERE THERE IS A WILL, THERE IS A WAY

WHERE THERE IS NO WILL, THERE IS NEVER A WAY

Genocide flourishes when there is no accountability.

WE CAN’T SAY THAT WE CARE ABOUT JUSTICE

WHEN WE DO NOTHING TO STOP THE INJUSTICE

Silence is necessary for genocide to go on.
Our collective silence is a weapon used by the genocidaires.
Silence kills.
And we are responsible for our personal silence.
Call US Senators & Representatives
1–800–GENOCIDE
Call President Bush
202-456-1111

Tell them to do the right thing about
the four and a half year Darfur genocide.
Thank you!
