BLOGGING AS LIFE AND CATHARSIS

"...Therefore was a single human being created:
to teach you that to destroy a single human soul
is equivalent to destroying an entire world;
and to sustain a single human soul
is equivalent to sustaining an entire world."

Mishnah Sanhedrin 4:5

SOME OF MY OLDER BLOG POSTS' LINKS
that I particularly like

We Lose When Others Suffer

You change when you respect your pain

When justice isn't our compass
we get a world with man-made pain.
When justice isn't protected
we get a world confused and deluded.
When justice isn't the most important value,
we get politicians with license to violate our basic human rights.

Habeas Corpus is non-negotiable.
We get the politicians we order.

I think it will be the "developing" world
who teaches the "developed" world
priorities
and the way toward the justice
we only afford ourselves in our dreaming.

When Wrong Is Taken As Right

"Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize that we cannot eat money."

Ignorance is not bliss. It is just ignorance. And it can be deadly. Just ask the people in this story.

WE ARE THE STEWARDS OF THE PLANET. IT IS NOT OUR RIGHT TO STRIP THE LAND OF ITS NATURAL INTEGRITY AND BEAUTY. PRESIDENT BUSH HAS DEMONSTRATED THAT HE HAS NO UNDERSTANDING OF THIS. I FIND THIS MAN TO HAVE MISREPRESENTED US AND HAS NOT ONLY DISGRACED HIMSELF, BUT US, AS UNITED STATES CITIZENS. WE SHOULD BE STANDING UP TO HIM.
