HEATH - ALIVE IN OUR HEARTS
I think of Heath Ledger as an actor with integrity, with the ability to not wear his characters, but he showed the characters embodying him. He and the character are one and the same in his movies. I love everything about a movie that I read an unmerited review of - The Four Feathers. Roger Ebert hated it. I love it.
I look forward to seeing The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus. But this morning on Regis and Kelly, the director, Terry Gilliam, gave no sign that I would get to see it. He mentioned while there with his Monty Python team that Christmas day, The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus, would open in New York City and Los Angeles. No signs of it coming to Rhode Island.
Then I read this review just now: www.independent.co.uk
Words from this review in speaking about Heath: "The actor had just come from playing the Joker, and actually looks worn out..."
I thought Heath looked tired, too in the short little clips I have seen of him in it. And we know that he was tired. But, it is Heath. And I will love him in it. Even if I have to wait until the DVD comes out.

Hi Sandra,
critics and reviews…hmm.
I’d always like it to get my own impression and will have my own meaning, like you do. But, of course I’ve read some of the reviews of the Parnassus movie, and I think whoever cannot follow the story, obviously has not enough intelligence and/or fantasy. And Heath, yes, he looked tired during this time and he was sick, but he looks perfect in his role.
Probably some of the critics missed the point...
As you know, I've seen the film and I love it - but may be I've got too much fantasy ...
And thank you very much for showing my video here! It is such a shame that yours cannot be shown in the USA, it is such a beautiful tribute! So I’m happy, to see it here in Germany.
Johanna
