Who would have thought that the one to pick up the standard of being an unapologetic liberal from deceased Senator Ted Kennedy would be a Representative? And a freshman congressman. From Florida. Alan Grayson - a breath of fresh air. In the stench of Democrats who won't find their backbone and the Republicans who are representing the insurance companies to the detriment of the citizens of the USA, a freshman congressman is music to my ears.

There are 435 U.S. Representatives and only 50 U.S. Senators. Representatives serve 2 year terms at a time and Senators serve 6 year terms.

Alan Grayson has made a name for himself by having principles of common sense, speaking with principles while having the courage to say truth in the muck in our current society of the following:

weak-kneed politicians,
Michele Bachmann types,
mind-numbing, repelling tv shows,
commercials of prescription drugs,
that are so unbelievable, that I have to check to see that it isn't a Saturday Night Live skit (you know, a soft spoken actor telling us a side effect may be death, but it may be worth the risk or that depressing commercial about doubling up on depression drugs)

and politicians, "Limbaugh" and "Glenn-Beck" irksome specimens who are saying such stupid stuff with what sounds like conviction.

WHY IT IS SO DIFFICULT TO BE SMART
