Ode to Rafa's Arms

I loathe Nike in 2009.

They put sleeves on Rafa. *pump*

Let him wear sleeves on the golf course,

Let him wear sleeves in press conferences,

Let him wear sleeves anywhere,

But not on the tennis court.

Give me Rafa's arms back

If it isn't "broken", don't fix it....

And it wasn't "broken".

And those long tennis Rafa shorts,

the pirate pants ~

were signature-Rafa that said "I'm here".

We love Rafa's spirit, *love3*

We love Rafa's unleashed passion on the court, *clap*

We love his humility everywhere else,

We love his kind heart,

We love his hair,

the *rafabrow*

We love his hands and long bending fingers,

We love the line he cuts running after the swing he's about to make,

We love his eyes that tell us how genuine he is,

We love the sauntering walk of his gait,

We love the shiny wet arms that delight our eyes,

the biceps that quietly make us take notice.

So an unsporting big BOO to Nike,

for stealing the vision we enjoyed so ~

Rafa's bare arms that gave us a show.

It's been a rough year for Rafa fans,

First covering up those wet, *thud*

bulging arms of Rafa's, *thud*

Shortening the fabric on his courtly pants, *thud*

Then having to miss him for months due to knee injury.

Rafa, is it asking too much

to grant us your arms again minus the sleeves

and adding the pants down past your knees?
