If the life of your ethnic group depended on the kindness of others in the world and year after year passed, but yet the leaders of the world did little to nothing to change your situation of living exiled from your home - how would you keep up the hope that somebody, sometime would make a change?
Here, is Adam who is trying to express himself in English....so be patient and listen to him with your heart. Please, watch all the way to the end.

Text written by Gabriel Stauring ~
Adam is a remarkable man. He sold some of his remaining animals, so that he could build a library for the people in the camp. He wants them to know more about what is happening in the world and share what he learns with the people of Darfur. Adam believes that this will help them be better prepared for their future. So they can return and build a stronger Darfur. The first library he built was washed away during rainy season, but he is determined to build again.
Adam and his wife have four boys and three girls. They live in a tent given to them by UNHCR, and they have added structures around that tent, so that the children have more room. He was able to bring a few papaya seeds with him, and has two small trees that provide them with some food, and varied nutrients. His children are learning English, and Adam very much wants them to return to Darfur.
Adam asked the international community not to forget them.Click the post title for the source/website

Rahma is a spirited, charismatic young man. Back in Darfur, he played soccer and volleyball with the other boys. His entire village was destroyed by the Janjaweed. Rahma loves to go to school. English is his favorite subject, but he also likes math and Arabic. When he grows up, Rahma wants to be President of Sudan. When he becomes President, he wants people to live peacefully in their villages.

Gabriel writes of Ahmat
Ahmat (16 when we met him) loves to study. He also likes to ride a bicycle, play football, and listen to music. He could do all of these, until his village in Darfur was destroyed.
In a refugee camp, where he and his family fled to, there is no secondary education, so Ahmat had nothing to do after finishing primary school. He decided to risk his life by going back in to Darfur to one of the few towns that is still standing and has schools. As far as we know, he is still in Darfur, where a young man his age is the primary target to be killed by the Janjaweed and the Sudanese army. The meeting actually starts at 4:43 minutes into the video
Darfur Dream Team Launches New Website
More than 225 U.S. schools are paired up with 12 schools in the Djabal and Goz Amer refugee camps. The Darfur Dream Team, launched by NBA star Tracy McGrady, connects schools in America with schools in Darfuri refugee camps in Chad. The "Sister Schools" program, through fund raising, educational awareness and other steps, aims to improve the educational opportunities of these resilient refugee students.
Become a Sister School
Students at The Bromfield School in Harvard, MA started the Darfur Dream Team: Bromfield Chapter to make a difference for the Sultan Tadjadine School in the Djabal refugee camp. Read their story on Harvard's Wicked Local site.
