Darfuris are optimistic about the ICC charges leveled against President al-Bashir, citing them as an important step toward bringing about peace in Darfur. Emphasizing notions of justice as well as responsibility and accountability within the government, listen as Darfuris stress the significance of the ICC charges and urge that they not be suspended.

Exhibit Darfur Denver was a rousing success with over 2,500 people directly impacted and many more to come. Those in attendance were motivated by inspired speeches as well as all types of multimedia. Hear the Stories of September's Darfur Heroes
Two Darfuri diaspora leaders, Suliman Giddo and Marwa Salah Eldin Abdalla, were honored as September's Darfur Heroes. Both work here in the United States to bring about positive change in their homeland. Giddo is president of the Darfur Peace and Development Organization. Abdalla has been a featured speaker at many Voices From Darfur events in the Northeast.
