"There is a pleasure in the pathless woods...
There is a rapture on the lonely shore...
There is society where none intrudes...
By the deep sea and music in its roar...
I love not man the less, but Nature more...
From these our interviews, in which I steal...
From all I may be, or have been before...
To mingle with the Universe and feel...
What I can ne'er express, yet cannot all conceal."
Byron
MUSIC HAS ALWAYS BEEN MY HEALER
IT IS A GIFT OF GOD
AND I AM THANKFUL FOR IT
WHAT IT DOES FOR ME
IS COMFORTING
WARM
LOVING KINDNESS
AND SPIRITUAL
I LOVE MUSIC
BECAUSE IT BRINGS ME CLOSE TO THE BEST THERE IS
BECAUSE IT SOOTHES MY SOUL
BECAUSE IT NEVER JUDGES ME
I SIMPLY LOVE IT
FOR ALWAYS BEING THERE FOR MY JOY,
MY SADNESS,
MY FULLNESS

Thank you
That was beautiful. I have this crumbling, leather-bound book from the 1800s, "The Complete Works of Byron". It has been in my family since it was new. I'm always afraid to read it because it disintegrates a bit more every time I handle it. Obviously, I need to read it more...
ReplyDeleteAnd yes, we are never truly alone, are we?
And what a beautiful version of Autumn leaves!
