I CARRY THE TORCH FOR DARFUR

Some things in our lives become important enough to prioritize them. It may be sickness. It may be an accident. It may be sorrow.

But when our humanity can be questioned because we allow a genocide to go on year after year in Darfur ~ what amounts to be a silent screaming out for our attention and our souls needs to be given project status. In other words, genocide is one of those things that should be taken care of as a priority.

"How many ears must one man have before he can hear people cry?...
How many deaths will it take 'til he knows that too many people have died?...
How many years can some people exist before they're allowed to be free?...
How many times can a man turn his head pretending he just doesn't see?"
